Container unloading jobs – no experience needed
Container unloading is what MTEK does best, and it is the job most of our people do. We are always looking for new people for all four teams: Taulov, Børkop, Aabenraa and Padborg.
You do not need to know anything beforehand. You are trained from your first shift by a team leader standing right next to you.

How unloading works
The container is brought in, and the team starts at the front. Boxes are taken out in the order they stand and sorted onto pallets according to where they are going. The goods are registered along the way, and anything damaged is photographed before it moves on.
When the container is empty, it is reported as finished digitally, and the next one is brought in. It is a steady pace and a steady rhythm — most people have got the hang of it after a few shifts.
Our own scanner system
MTEK has built its own system for sorting. You scan a box, and the system tells you instantly which pallet it goes on. That means fewer mistakes, less to keep in your head, and you get up to speed faster as a new starter.
You do not need to be technical to use it. It is a handheld scanner and a display.
Is it hard work?
It is physical work: you are on your feet, and you lift. But you are not on your own, and you are taught how to lift so your body holds up all week.
We have had zero workplace accidents in 42,440 registered working hours. That is no accident — it is training and fixed routines.

Frequently asked questions
What if I have never worked in a warehouse?
Then you are in good company. Most of our people started without experience and were trained on site.
Where does the work take place?
At our four teams in Taulov, Børkop, Aabenraa and Padborg. You choose the towns that suit your transport.
What will I earn?
Pay and conditions follow the collective agreement, and wages are paid monthly. We will tell you the exact rate when we call — including the supplements for evenings, nights and weekends.
How many hours can I get?
You decide. Some people want full weeks, others want a few shifts alongside studies or another job. We have enough work for both — it is not a few days of work and then nothing.
Do I need to speak Danish?
Danish or English is enough. We speak Danish on the team, but your team leader can easily explain things in English if that is easier for you.
Do I need warehouse experience?
No. Most people on our teams started without any experience. You are trained by a team leader who is on site every day.
Is there an app?
Yes. Once you are set up with us, you get the MTEK GROUP app for iPhone and Android. That is where you bid on open shifts, see your calendar and follow your hours and supplements for the period. You log in with your phone number and a code sent by text. The app itself is in Danish. Read more about the app.
Can I get a forklift licence?
Yes. Once you have been with us for three months, we pay for your forklift licence. If you already have one, tell us straight away — we have jobs where forklifts are used.
How old do I need to be?
You need to be 18 or over.
When will I hear from you?
