Who is responsible for your information?

What information do we process?

When you enter your phone number: your phone number and the time you signed up. We also record which page on mtekgroup.dk you came from, so we can see which pages work.

When you fill in your profile: your name, phone number, where you live, which towns you can work in, when you can work, which languages you speak and whether you hold certificates — for example a forklift licence.

If you are hired: the information employment requires, including your CPR number, bank details and tax information. We only ask for these once we have talked and there is a concrete agreement.

What do we use the information for, and on what legal basis?

We use your information to send you the link to your profile, to assess whether we have a job that suits you, and to contact you about work at MTEK.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation — processing necessary to enter into an agreement with you — and Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in contacting you about specific work you have shown interest in.

If you are hired, we also process information because the law requires it, for example for pay, tax and reporting (Article 6(1)(c)).

Text messages from us

When you have entered your number, we send you one text message with a link to your profile. If you do not fill it in, we send no more than two reminders.

If you are registered as a candidate with us, we may send you text messages about specific shifts and jobs. You can always reply STOP, and we will stop messaging you. We do not sell your number and do not use it to advertise anything other than work at MTEK.

Who has access to your information?

Your information is processed in Containly, MTEK's own system. Only MTEK staff who work with staffing have access.

We use two suppliers who process information on our behalf: Simply.com A/S, which hosts the website and the system, and Twilio, which sends our text messages. Twilio processes data outside the EU, and the transfer is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

When you join a team, the customer receives the information needed for you to turn up for work — typically your name and when you are coming. The customer does not receive your profile.

How long do we keep your information?

If you have entered your number but never filled in your profile, we delete the number after 30 days.

If you have filled in a profile but have not been hired, we delete the profile after 6 months — unless you have agreed that we may keep it longer to contact you about future jobs.

If you are hired, we keep the information for as long as your employment lasts and then for as long as the law requires — for pay, tax and accounting information, typically five years from the end of the financial year the information relates to.

Your rights

You have the right to know what information we hold about you and to receive a copy of it. You have the right to have incorrect information corrected, to have information deleted, to have processing restricted and to object to our processing.

Write to kath@mtekgroup.dk and we will reply as quickly as possible and within one month at the latest.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, datatilsynet.dk.

Changes

We update this policy if we change the way we work. The date of the latest update is shown at the top.
